M.S., BCBA, LBA ยท Owner
Hannah is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with 10 years of experience in the education field, supporting high-needs and complex cases across school and home settings. She has a strong background in behavioral assessment and intervention and has collaborated with multidisciplinary school teams, provided training for educators and paraprofessionals, and supported diverse learners with significant behavioral challenges.
As a former special education teacher, Hannah saw firsthand how behavior impacts learning, classroom dynamics, and the well-being of both students and staff. That experience shaped her commitment to helping people in these spaces by offering clear, compassionate, and practical behavioral support grounded in real-world environments and the resources teams actually have.
Tapang Behavioral Consulting uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support individuals with high-needs and complex behavior in school and home settings, providing practical, compassionate, and evidence-based guidance that leads to meaningful change.
tapang means courage
Written in Baybayin, the script used in the Philippines before Spanish colonization. Read left to right: ta, pa, nga.Why "Tapang"
Tapang is a Tagalog word meaning courage. Growth, learning, and meaningful behavior change ask for courage from everyone involved: the person, the family, the teacher, the team. That is where the name comes from, and it is how the work is done.
By combining courage with empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practice, Tapang helps individuals, families, schools, and organizations better understand behavior while building confidence, capacity, and long-term success.
The Baybayin script in the logo is a nod to Hannah's Filipino heritage. You do not need to read it; the word and its meaning are always written alongside it.
