Functional Behavior Assessments
A Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) is a process that uses direct observation, indirect interviews, and data review to identify the function of behavior and the conditions that influence it. This understanding becomes the foundation for developing an effective, supportive Behavior Intervention Plan.
Behavior Intervention Plans
A Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) is developed after a formal FBA to create strategies that directly address the function of behavior. Each plan is tailored to the individual's needs and the resources available, focusing on teaching safe, appropriate, and functionally equivalent skills. We provide training and support to ensure the plan is implemented consistently across environments.
School Consultation
School-based support for high-needs cases through direct consultation, guidance in identifying behavior functions, and using effective reinforcement to build consistent, appropriate responses.
Staff Training and Professional Development
Workshops and ongoing training for educators, care staff, and clinical teams. Sessions focus on understanding behavior, recognizing behavior patterns, and applying reinforcement effectively. Staff learn how to identify behavior functions, respond to challenging behavior with consistent strategies, and build supportive, function-based practices across classrooms and programs.
Caregiver Coaching and Education
Collaborative coaching that teaches core ABA principles so caregivers can apply them within their own environmental context and use function-based strategies.
